The name of this Belega is the name of a village, which is located in district of Blahbatu Gianyar Regency, Bali. While Bona is a hamlet in the village of Belega. To reach to two places that can be reached by two lines i.e. the city of Gianyar to the South which are about 13 km. whereas if from the West from the intersection of Blahbatu, road eastward to Belega and Bona that the distance is about 30 km from the city of Denpasar.
Blahbatu derives from two words namely "Blah" meaning people and "stone" bemakna rock or strong. The direct Blahbatu interpreted as people led by a very strong and well known, namely Ki Kebo Jiwa based in Blahbatu.
At the beginning of the 17th century, when the reign of Dalem Ketut known some patih where one is Ki Kebo Jiwa based in Blahbatu, Gianyar. Blahbatu own name when it is not yet known. But in the name of this Blahbatuh is famous for its supernatural powers and immunity Ki Kebo which is very tough and difficult it was defeated by his enemies.
